We target companies that manufacture unique or value added food ingredients or products distributed through the retail grocery or food service channels or companies that co-manufacture products for major food companies.

Although we have a strong grain-based background, we also seek non-grain based opportunities in high growth, high-margined segments of the food manufacturing industry.

Ideal candidates will have sales of $25-$100 million, superior management teams and low-cost, efficient production processes and facilities. We prefer companies with above average profitability exhibited by EBITDA margins of 10% or greater.  We also will consider smaller, earlier stage niche opportunities with compelling growth prospects.

We look for opportunities anywhere in the continental U.S., but prefer locations in the middle third of the country from the Gulf Coast to Canada.
